We continue to receive letter after letter explaining the devastating budget cuts that loom in our school district's future, effecting the programming that our schools are able to offer our children. One of the programs that we have noticed to be in a severe decline is physical education as well as health and wellness. However, we have a way that can address both issues simultaneously. Leslie and I are on a mission to make health and fitness a priority in our schools again, and what's more, the schools can benefit financially from this opportunity as well. Take a look.
Contact us if you are interested in helping your school.
Independent Team Beachbody Coaches, Matt & Leslie Dultz have created this blog to share their experiences as they continue to engage in Beachbody programs, use the products, and become a more involved part of the Team Beachbody Family. Geared toward those contemplating committing to a healthier future, or who would like additional support about what Beachbody can do for them.

Shakeology 30 Day Challenge
With only about 3 months until the official start to summer, we wanted to help everyone get a jump start in getting their bodies back into form. So we are having a 30-Day Shakeology challenge where the winner will be given a brand new workout program from Beachbody such as Hip Hop Abs, TurboJam, and others! The rules are simple: just sign up for Shakeology with autoship through either Matt's Shakeology Site or Leslie's Shakeology Site before April 1st to be a part of the April Challenge. Everyone participating will have to send in their beginning weight at the start of the Challenge and their ending weight at the end of the month. The participant with the highest % of weight lost will be declared the winner. You may also get off to a quick start by doing the Shakeology 3-Day Cleanse, which can be found in one of Matt's earlier blog posts. If you want to save 25% on Shakeology, you can sign up as a coach and get on Shakeology autoship to also participate in the competition. Good luck everyone!

Million Dollar Body Game Entry
Well, the votes are in and it doesn't look like I'm going to make it out of the final 8 in the Insanity Competition for Beachbody's Million Dollar Body Game. I can't say that I'm not disappointed that this is the end of the road for me, but I am extremely proud of what I accomplished. I want to thank all my friends and family for voting for me, but also hope that I can use this experience to help influence other people to take the leap and commit to their own health and fitness. I set my mind to it, and didn't allow myself to make excuses. I can do the same for you, and be there to support you when you need it. In the mean time, I'm going to relish what I accomplished and save this video as a reminder to myself of what I accomplished. I did it. I made the final 8, and here is the commercial to prove it. Watch quick because it goes by fast, I'm the first contestant that they show!

Beachbody Changed My Life!
When I made a phone call to Beachbody after seeing the P90X Infomercial for what seemed to be the thousandth time , I had no idea of the impact that call was going to have on the rest of my life. For $120, I got so much more than just a crazy fitness and nutrition program. Sure, I received fantastic results from my hard work and dedication to the program, but when I look back at everything else I have received I am completely amazed.
I didn't just transform my body, I transformed my life. I was taking things for granted, such as my health, my relationships with others, even my family, and what kind of financial choices I continuously made. After my first round of P90X, I found the person inside me I was missing, realized the person I wanted to become for myself, my wife, and my 2 little boys.
About a year later, I decided to take the plunge and commit to becoming a Beachbody Coach. I did this for 3 reason: 1) Because I like all the Beachbody Products and wanted to save 25% on all my orders. 2) Because I knew that by signing up to be a coach I would stay committed to my own fitness so I could be a model for other people as I helped them reach their own health and fitness goals. 3) There is the potential to make a substantial amount of money, just by doing what I love.
Now, I not only find myself completely transformed. My family eats so much healthier than before, including my sons which is something that you cannot put a price on because they will carry that with them for the rest of their lives. My wife and I motivate each other to be the best we can be, and our marriage is stronger than it has ever been (except when I piss her off)...I am now having an impact on the rest of my family, who are now beginning to commit to their own health and fitness. And I am making enough income each month to help pay for things such as new tires for my wife's car or a new pool pump, when we have hard months like we just had, and not freak out that we can't pay for it. And to top it off, I am now a finalist in Beachbody's Million Dollar Body Game with a chance to win a big prize! Life is good, and it can be for you too. Join my team and you can change your life just as I have changed mine. But in the mean time, click on the following link and vote for me before Wednesday, Feb. 23rd. Thanks.

Precious Moments
Tonight I went to a fit club that is hosted by my friend Traci Morrow. She is gracious enough to rent out the auxiliary basketball court at Azusa Pacific University every Thursday night, just so others can come and workout together. Although the workouts are great, that is not what I am calling a precious moment. You see, tonight my 5 year old son, Trevor, joined me. My wife stayed home with a migraine and our older son, Tyler, wanted to stay with her to take care of her. So it was just me and Trevor for the evening. During the workout he ran around with a couple of other boys, causing a bit of trouble but nothing to worry about. That was fun to watch, but that wasn't precious either. My precious moment cam after the workout was completed and everyone headed home. As the last few people found their way to the exit, I told Traci I would like to stay for a few minutes just to have some "daddy time" with Trevor. She said sure and went home to her own family. This was my precious moment. Just 15 minutes of uninterrupted playtime with my little boy, it was past his bedtime after all. But for those 15 minutes, you couldn't wipe the smile of his face, or take the joy out of my heart. As we walked out of the gym Trevor grabbed my hand and held it all the way to the car. On the way he said a simple phrase, "I love you Daddy, I had fun with you." To me, that little phrase was more powerful, more meaningful than any speech in the history of mankind. What would I do to be able to create more moments like that? I'm doing it...You can to.
Need to Prioritize
I admit that I have been completely gung-ho over Beachbody, whether I'm talking about the exercise programs like P90X or Insanity, nutritionals such as Shakeology, and the Business Opportunity. The truth is, I am absolutely crazy about all of the above because I honestly believe in them. The programs and nutritionals have, without a doubt, helped me to get in the best shape of my life. The business has not only helped me to earn a little extra money (and I know that amount will continue to grow), but it has made me stay committed to my own health and fitness at a whole new level than before, and it allows me to be a part of the transformations of the people that I am helping to get in shape, some for the first time in their life.
The problem is that I have recently focused too much on the business aspect of Beachbody, which is important to me, but in doing that I neglected to value the relationships I have established on a personal level with those that have also joined me with Beachbody. It took my friend and coach in my organization, Jon Zackula to help me realize this. So thank you Jon, for helping me to reorganize my priorities and remember that although this is a business that is driven by relationships and trust, it is the relationships that need to take center stage. The funny thing is, that my business grew fastest when I wasn't thinking about the business and instead focused on the people around me, and helping them improve their lives.
That is just one more reason I like this business, because it is actually going to help me to remain grounded to what is truly important. If I hadn't brought Jon into my organization, I wouldn't have had him to point me back in the right direction and stay true to who it is that I want to be. Yes, your upline coach can help you build your business and support you as you grow, but the coaches that you bring into the business can support you as well. It's the only business I know that helps to maintain your personal relationship as well.
